JEROEN VERBRUGGEN
Grand Theater of Geneva
With Ba\Rock, the choreographer Jeroen Verbruggen approaches the world of baroque music and confronts it with the modernity of rock. By its complexity, its virtuosity and its desire to upset conventions, its choreographic writing resonates with this musical universe. Characterized by the importance of counterpoint, the baroque tends towards an expressive and contrasted harmony while leaving a lot of room for ornamentation. This evening shot in 2016 is a Ballet in two parts: "Iris" and "Vena Amoris".
Director - Anaïs Spiro
